FARMHOUSE DESCRIPTION

Located at 5 km from Vinci, the Leonardo da Vinci’s birthplace is situated on the hills of Cerreto Guidi, an ancient village with a castle of the eleventh century. Cosimo I de’ Medici in 1565 in Cerreto Guidi began the construction of a large villa, today a national museum, to which also worked the famous architect Buontalenti. In this context you will find a holiday home that offers comfortable equipped apartments with furniture in rustic Tuscan style, provided with washing machine, dishwasher and satellite TV. In addition, except for the three apartments on the first floor (number 14-15-16), all ones have porticos and independent entrance from the garden where on the back there is the swimming pool (mt. 6 x 12 – opened from May to September)  with a restricted area to children and an extraordinary panorama of Vinci.

About 500 metres from the complex there is the restaurant accessible also to the guests.

At 1 km from Cerreto Guidi; at 5 km from the naturalistic oasis of the Padule di Fucecchio (Marsh of Fucecchio). San Gimignano and Florence (at 40 km), Pisa (at 50 km).
